EPA Workstation

What is an EPA?

An EPA (ESD Protected Area) is a workstation or designated area that has no static generating materials. This controlled environment is designed to protect static sensitive components, equipment and devices from the effects of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), which could result in costly delays and repairs.

Appropriate ESD safe flooring, personal grounding, handling procedures, storage, training and signage all play a critical part in reducing damage.

For advice on how you can set up your workstation, call one of our ESD experts +44 (0) 1473 836 200.
