13in Antistatic HIPS Component Packaging Reels

Split reels for efficient storage and cost-effective transport

White 13in antistatic HIPS component packaging reels are designed for the safely shipping and storing electronic components packaged in carrier tape. Manufactured from high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), each reel is supplied in halves and supports a wide range of carrier tape widths.

Interchangeable hub sizes of 0.16in (4mm), 0.31in (8mm), 0.63in (16mm), 1.1in (28mm) and 1.7in , allow assembly to suit EIA standard widths from 8mm to 56mm, ensuring compatibility with most SMT and SMD component formats.

The split design reduces freight volume by up to 70% enables nest-stacked, cutting storage space by up to 60% compared with pre-assembled reels. Each reel features a 13in outside diameter, 0.5in arbor hole and 4in hub. A twist-lock mechanism enables fast, tool-free assembly without adhesives or fixings. With a surface resistance of 1 x 10⁵ to 1 x 10¹¹ ohms in accordance with ANSI/ESD STM11.13-2021, these reels deliver reliable static protection.
