Single and double splice tape for joining SMT carrier tape reels

Antistat splice tape provides a fast, reliable way to join SMT component reels at the pick-and-place feeder, maintaining continuous production without stopping the line for a reel change. Available in widths from 8mm to 56mm and compatible with paper, polystyrene and polycarbonate carrier tapes across all SMT pick-and-place feeders.

Our splice tape connectors are colour-coded in red, yellow and blue for easy identification during production and can be purchased loose or on a reel. For applications requiring a stronger bond across plastic and embossed tapes, double splice tape connectors provide a secure, pre-cut join with no additional tools required. Where a mechanical connection is needed, splice tape with shim combines adhesive tape with an integrated brass shim in a single unit, reducing handling steps and ensuring accurate tape alignment.
