SPLICE TAPE EXTENDERS
Splice Tape Extenders (PET Type) are used for joining leader tapes in the SMT process. Can add an extra 48cm (19”) of tape, preventing component reel wastage and helps to reduce machine downtime.
Easy to use, just peel off the backing tape from the yellow adhesive end and attach to the Splice Leader Tape.
Available in sizes ranging from 8mm to 24mm, with other sizes available upon request. Made from soft and transparent PET, these extenders help reduce setup and machine downtime while minimizing component reel waste. They are compatible with both paper and plastic leader tapes, whether punched or formed pockets, offering versatile usage in electronic component assembly.
